Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Philosophy of Science

Mark received a PhD On non-causal explanation at the University of Leeds (2013), an MA in the Philosophy of Science from the University of Leeds (2008), worked as a Postgraduate researcher applied mathematics at University of Leeds (2002-2006), and gained an MPhys Astrophysics from the University of Leeds (2002).

At present he is working on explanation and how this relates to emergence as well as using examples from astrophysics of candidates for emergence.
